Correction to: Nature Aging https://doi.org/10.1038/s43587-024-00694-0, published online 12 September 2024.

In the version of the article initially published, the Y-control and ABMMT images in Fig. 2g were incorrectly selected from the raw data for Fig. 1d. The authors have checked the original records, located the correct images and associated source data for Fig. 2g, and updated the figure. Additionally, the wrong replicate was selected for the source data file of Fig. 2k p-GSK, and t-AKT was included in the source data file in error for Fig. 3h p-AKT. Finally, highly similar fractions were identified in the source data for Figs. 1d, 5r and s, and Extended Data Figs. 1k and i, 6d, f, n and o, and 8n, due to errors when compiling the final source data files for publication. The authors provided the original data files to the journal for validation and the source data have been updated. These changes do not affect the main results and conclusions of the article.
