Philosophy and ethos
Joanna Bensz established her longevity clinic in 2019, she began with what she describes as “a think tank for the future of health.”
“We saw a very fast-growing scientific part of longevity,” she explains. “Universities and institutions were already involved, but it was fragmented. I wanted to bring that knowledge under one roof and make it usable for people today.” The Longevity Center has since become a place where researchers and practitioners work in true synergy, closely connected to the International Institute of Longevity. By combining precision and evidence-based methods with a positive outlook on the possibilities that every stage of life can offer, the Longevity Center has distinguished itself as a leader in the field.
With two clinics in Zurich and Warsaw, the team applies advanced diagnostics and a multimodal approach to reveal the true state of a patient’s health. The findings become the basis for a personalized programme designed to strengthen resilience, restore energy, and support vitality, both in the present and across the years to come.
Capturing and defining the boundaries of how we can measure health, the Longevity Center Method is based around eight health markers that range from molecular structure to psychological analysis. These health markers include: genetics and epigenetics, biological age, circadian rhythm, psyche and emotion, cognitive health, gender-specific medicine, the hallmarks of aging, and environmental health. These pillars shape every diagnostic process and intervention. As Bensz explains: “The more levels you measure, the better you understand yourself and the better you can manage your health.”
To capture these markers, the Center has developed a suite of specialized laboratories. The Metabolic Lab investigates insulin resistance, lipid balance, and mitochondrial performance. The Brain Lab measures cognition and neural aging. The Sleep Lab maps circadian rhythms. The Sports and Performance Lab tracks endurance, recovery, and muscle strength. And the Immune and Oncology Lab analyzes inflammation and immune system resilience. The work is overseen by a scientific director, supported by a team tasked with evaluating and harnessing the latest diagnostic tools, cutting-edge equipment, and effective interventions.
What distinguishes the Center is not only its infrastructure but also its culture of collaboration. Every Monday, specialists from across these disciplines gather in consortium to discuss patient cases.
“Our doctors discuss cases together with psychologists, psychiatrists, sleep experts, trainers, and nutritionists,” explains Bensz. “When one expert looks at the results, they may not see what another does. The conversation between them creates real value.”
The Longevity Center is built on rigorous scientific analysis and a method applied step-by-step. What makes the Center remarkable is its emphasis on recognising the emotional and psychological factors that influence aging. The team is committed to providing solutions that address both body and mind. In the words of founder Joanna Bensz: “It is about using science to understand what is happening in your body today, and then building resilience across body and mind. That is what allows people to live not just longer, but better.”

Music and longevity
At Longevity Center Warsaw, the therapeutic dimensions of music are incorporated into select interventions. Guided by leading composers and sound designers, these experiences create a calming, restorative atmosphere that enhances the effectiveness of each protocol. Through the fusion of art and medicine, Longevity Center Warsaw offers a powerful complement to traditional care – expanding the boundaries of what it means to live better, longer.
